Water repellent plaster additive PWR
A rendering additive in powder form, which
provides softness, flexibility and workability to
mortar and plaster as well as providing long term
water repellency properties. PWR
is an excellent one component additive for the manufacture of
pre-mixed, long life mortar for rendering. It is also suitable for "on
the site mixing".
Properties :
· Water
repellant surface.
· If
required, longer application time ( up to 72 hours)
· Optimum
drying time.
· Excellent
workability
· Excellent
adherence
· Excellent
flexibility, strength and durability
· Lightness
· Easy
spreadability
· Improvement
of the frost resistance properties
· Compatibility
with all kinds of sand, cement and other additives
· Non-corrosive
· No
excessive cracking
· Antibacterial
protection.
PWR containes special additives that provide high
flexibility, adherence and workability to the mortar. Additionally it
containes special silicone polymers which renders the surface of the
plaster, water repellant. This water repellancy does not impair the
breathing of the wall. It is also suitable for preparing pre-made
mortar for rendering and its application time can be adjusted as
required, up to 72 hours. Drying time after application is not very
long. A very smooth, crack free surface can be obtained with the PWR
