StoneCare SEAL
A penetrating liquid product for natural stones
for rendering them oil and water repellent. This product creates an
invisible seal at the surface of the stone, penetrating into the cracks
and the cavities, providing both oil and water repellency. It does not
modify the natural look of the stones. Thus, any oily or aqueous
spillage on the surface will not penetrate into the stone and can be
easily wiped off and cleaned.
Properties :
· Stonecare-SEAL
provides long term protection (up to 2-3 years) against staining.
· The
protection period depends on the nature of the stone, wear and
frequency of cleaning.
· Use
of hard detergents for cleaning will decrease the protection period.
· Stonecare-SEAL
is used without dilution.
· Solvent
base cleaners are not recommended.
· Moisture-vapor
transmission is not prevented.
Application :
· Whole
surface to be treated is wetted with Stonecare SEAL evenly. Use soft
brush or paint pad to rub the chemical into the surface, leave to dry
and cure for 24 hours.
· Test
a small area first.
· Newly installed areas must be
left for at least 48 hours before Stonecare SEAL treatment.
· Application
surface must be dry, clean and free from dust.
· Usually
one treatment is sufficient but if required a second coating can be
applied after drying out of the first coat.
· A
bottle of Stonecare SEAL (0,95 Kg) is sufficient for the treatment of 25-35 m2 surface depending on the porosity of the
surface.
· The
surface must not be too hot during application as this will cause fast
drying and improper penetration.
· Do
not apply Stonecare SEAL on surfaces previously treated with another
coating material. It must contact and react with the natural stone, for
an extended protection.
· Stonecare
SEAL does not protect acid labile stones (such as marble) against
strong acids.

1 Quarts (976 gr) bottles - 20 bottles in a cardboard box.
30 Kg polyethylene drums.
Handling and Storage :
Shelf life is at least 1 year if stored at temperatures between 5 - 35
o C
