StoneCARE SHINER
A solvent based, partially penetrating
protector and shiner for all kinds of natural stones. StoneCARE SHINER
penetrates into the pores of the stone, solidifies in the pores and on
the surface as a tough water repellent coating. It forms an invisible
barrier for water and various stains and provides a shiny surface.
Application :
· Test
a small area initially.
· Whole
surface to be treated must be wetted with StoneCARE SHINER Evenly use
soft brush or paint pad and rub the chemical into the surface and leave
to dry and cure for 24 hours.
· New
installed areas must be left for at least 8 hours before the treatment.
· A
second coating can be applied after drying out of first treatment.
Highly porous stones may require additional coatings.
· A
bottle of StoneCARE SHINER (0,95 Kg) is sufficient for the treatment of 13-40 m2 surface depending on the porosity of the
surface.
· The
temperature must not be higher than 25 oC
during the application, otherwise fast drying and improper penetration
will result.
· Application
surface must be free of dust, and
dry/clean.
· StoneCARE
SHINER does not protect acid labile stones (such as marble) against
strong acids.
